The Shell Petroluem Development Company has relocated its pipeline at Kolo Creek-Soku gas pipeline across Kolo River in Bayelsa from the River surface to the River Bed. Oil workers were seen refilling dug out sand from the creek.

A former director of Budgetary planning in the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Titus Okunronmu has urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to put in more efforts to ensure that the Refineries function in order to stop the exportation of Petroleum products. Dr Okunronmu informed the News Agency of Nigeria in Ota Ogun state, on Saturday that developing the nation's refineries would reduce the great demand for foreign exchange.
