This Lesson is one in a couple of series titled Spirit life Christianity. I have notice with dread and alarm the carnality in the spiritual lives of believers of the twenty-first century despite the multiplicity of churches; Hence the need for these series to revive us and put us back on track ready for the Master's return. If a person is matured in Christ and has a great deal of the Holy Spirit and gives himself completely to the Holy Spirit so that the Holy Spirit can deliver him from anger, envy, quarreling, jealousy etc. by receiving a heavenly disposition and mortifying the deeds of the flesh, then God's Word calls him a Spirit man. However, if a person is a babe in Christ and has a little of the Holy Spirit and a great deal of the flesh, he is called carnal. Check 1 Cor. 3:1-4.
