Paul and Barnabas went about preaching God's words. They entered into the worship place of the Jews otherwise called the synagogue to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 14:1. This was something new... A new preaching different from what the Jews were conversant with. The Jews practiced Judaism and I'm sure it took them a lot of boldness to enter the synagogue to preach what they know others will term as abomination and heresy. Remember the persecution and the death  of Stephen which even Saul an unbelieving Jew then, consented to. But these were filled with power and boldness in the Holy Ghost and the preach the words. Words can lead to salvation and words can lead to destruction. Be careful of words. The  words of Paul and Barnabas caused many Jews and gentiles to believe in God and turn to Christ and there was great joy. But very soon the unbelieving  Jews stirred up trouble by trying to convince the young believers against their faith. In Isreal today y...

There are certain people upon the face of the earth that God chooses to relate with and reveal himself to in a very different manner. They are human beings like you and i but I call them special people. They are extremely blessed and highly favored to be called by God to fulfill certain purpose or to walk in a deeply satisfying relationship with God. People like Abraham, John the beloved, David, Moses, Samuel, Daniel, Apostle Paul etc. Be mindful of the fact that there were millions of  people living in the world in their time but God chose them among so many. For instance, God appeared to Abraham in visions and also physically, talked with him as a man would speak to his friend and yes! God called him his friend. Imagine that... Friendship between humanity and divinity. That is the highest level of honor a man or woman can ever achieve. Think of the communion, blessing, fulfillment, peace, love, assurance satisfaction, that usually accompanied such visits and the rest it ...

Yes..... Some of us... Men and Women, Boys and Girls, Youths and the Aged  have lost their  love for God. Now here me out before you quickly flip over saying it doesn't apply to you. God says he hates sin. Simply and short. To show how much he hates the sin,  he agrees to letting his son Jesus Christ  die on a cross so that when he sees the sacrifice of his son and the shed blood he will not destroy us. He will pardon and forgive us of the sin especially when we ask for forgiveness. Why? Because without shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. Does the fact still remain  that he hates sin? Capital YES! He hates sin and will always do. Does it mean that since our righteousness is like filthy rags then we should give up keeping/obeying  the commandment of God? NO! Jesus says if you love me keep my commandments. Does the death of Jesus Christ mean we should swim in sin? The answer is an emphatic NO. Why then do people take the grace of God, the...
