CBN FORMER DIRECTOR - INTENSIFY EFFORTS TO MAKE REFINERIES WORK.

A former director of Budgetary planning in the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Titus Okunronmu has urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to put in more efforts to ensure that the Refineries function in order to stop the exportation of Petroleum products.

Dr Okunronmu informed the News Agency of Nigeria in Ota Ogun state, on Saturday that developing the nation's refineries would reduce the great demand for foreign exchange.

He advice the Federal Government to borrow money to develop the refineries and also liberalize the foreign exchange market by allowing the forces of demand and supply to determine the exchange rate and stabilize it.
