ARMY FREES 255 ALLEDGED BOKO HARAM MEMBERS.
the Nigerian Army freed 255 suspected members of the Boko Haram sects on Sunday as part of the Armed Forces Remembrance day celebration. Those released comprised of men, women and children and were released to the Borno state Government at the Ramat Square in Maiduguri.
Major. General Lucky Irabor, the head of the military's counter-insurgency in the North East stated that they detainees had been screen and found to be clean but continuous monitored after their released.
In his response, the Deputy Governor paid tribute to the fallen heroes who he said died for the peace and security of the nation and commended the Nigerian Military and other security agencies for restoration of peace to Borno and the North East.
